Brand & Logos
A brand identity developed for racehorse trainer Alastair Lidderdale. Utilising his existing livery colours of red and blue, our brief was to create an identity that was recognised as belonging to the racing industry rather than any other equine entity. Materials comprise of: logo, templates for office requirements, newsletter template and style guide for printed materials i.e. invites, brochures, clothing and owner communications.

This brand was developed for a start up consultancy working primarily in the corporate social responsibility arena. The look had to be approachable, positive and forward thinking. The end result represents an abstracted image with a human element, illustrating the flexibility of the company's approach, with a feeling of safety and continuity by the nature of the rounded design holding everything together.

The delivery of an awareness campaign internally often depends on the need to develop a recognised icon to hang the campaign on to, maintaining recognition and aiding delivery. It is vital to keep in mind the rules governing use of existing brands and ensuring that whatever is developed matches the personality of the specific area the campaign is required for.

Full brand development for a start up Family Law firm, with general facilitation of templates for office use etc. The brief was to deliver a clean, typographical entity representational of the business’s founding partners. The end result represents a mix of serif and sans serif fonts that delivers the message of strength but with a softer side in its approach to the level of professionalism and care that this company exhibits.

Orbit Performance has its roots in the sporting industry – a horse racing, breeding and events vehicle. The symbol within the logo represents the athlete, whether it be a horse and rider or human being striving to achieve success. Much of the delivery is based on expertise which is very specific and highly specialised. As such, this brand has to represent the strength, flexibility and forward thinking ethos that this company aims for.

These logos have been designed to support internal awareness campaigns, maintaining recognition and aiding delivery. These simple mechanisms are mostly supporting the campaign name rather than delivering a representational icon. As such elements have been utilised from the existing standards set in the client’s guidelines. However, in some instances they required subtle adaptations to enable a bolder representation.
