As a rare grey racehorse Kijivu, in training at ALR, was chosen to be the Face of l’Arc de Triomphe 2008, a prestigious race meeting held at Longchamp in Paris.
We used the occasion to raise awareness of the yard in the local press including substantial coverage on the BBC and ITV. A further celebration was organised for owners and friends of the yard.
Alongside this event a local photographer continues to work on a ‘Year in the life of racing’ project. We managed an exhibition part way through the project to highlight his progress, again raising awareness for both the photographer and the yard, successfully auctioning many of his prints for charity.

The Lockinge Point to Point is a hugely popular local event in Berkshire, always attracting a large crowd. But there is a continuous need to pull in more people and open the event out to a wider audience. Becoming an extension of the team we help ensure everything runs smoothly on the day and create expectation through local press coverage and various marketing tools.

There are many businesses that have areas where employees and influential contacts are not desk-based. Electronic communications are not so effective for this audience; so open days can be an essential tool.
The ERU (Emergency Response Unit) wanted to increase awareness of their role providing essential back-up to the official emergency services across the London Transport network. Trans Plant wanted to strengthen recognition of their services to contacts in business areas other than the Underground.
An ERU board game was developed to give an insight in to the variety of their work and a wristband was produced and sold to raise funds for the London Ambulance Service. A presentation at the Trans Plant open day was supported by other materials, such as a DVD, produced for key contacts to take away.

When one company is responsible for the equipment/facilities that employees of another company uses then face-toface discussion can the best approach. It encourages two-way communication and allows for issues/ideas to be shared and dealt with in real time, fostering trust and respect.
We have developed a successful format for road shows that are not only informative, delivering the message, but also involve a certain degree of fun, to get people through the door. The events offer an opportunity to gather invaluable feedback on both sides, improving communication and best practice all round.

The challenge with this project was to fill a huge space (15 x 40m) at ExCeL with very little time (only four weeks) and on a small budget.
With a bit of ingenuity, and a lot of persuasion, we delivered a stand that exceeded expectations but certainly not the budget. Many elements of the stand, including a replica tunnel built to engineer’s specifications, were designed specifically to be re-used for other events.

A security company utilising IP technology, WebWayOne uses exhibition space at both IFSEC (Information Security) and Retail Solutions exhibitions each year to communicate with its customer-base and partners.
Whether the requirement is to replace banners for existing pop-up stands or to build from scratch the design always meets the expectations of this fastdeveloping industry, keeping pace with the changing demands.
